Some say it has been watching over the island since the dawn of time. Others believe it holds secrets yet to be uncovered.

The Purple Tiki Lounge & Its Founding Family

The first settlers built their homes along the coastline, drawn to the island’s peaceful charm and bountiful land. Among them was a family whose legacy still lives on today. Their home—the very first house on the island—became a gathering place, where music, stories, and laughter echoed through the warm tropical air. Over time, this home transformed into what is now The Purple Tiki Lounge, the island’s only spot for food, drinks, and entertainment. The lounge still stands in its original location, with the ancient Purple Tiki just down the tree-lined path, overlooking the beach.

Generations later, DJ Tea {tiki tea}, a direct descendant of the original settlers, carries on the family’s traditions. By day, she’s an artist and holistic health coach, helping islanders thrive naturally. By night, she and DJ Lava Lamp (also known as Mr. Announcer Man) take to the airwaves from the Sound Garden Studio, nestled within the lounge’s lanai just off the dance floor. Their show, broadcast weekly from the island, carries the sounds of the Purple Tiki Lounge across the waves, reaching listeners far beyond their enchanted shores.

A Haven for Locals and Travelers Alike

More than just a lounge, The Purple Tiki is a place to relax, unwind, and let the island’s magic soak in. Locals cherish it as their home away from home, while surfers and travelers find refuge here after long days of riding waves and exploring the island’s hidden wonders. It’s a place where stories are swapped, friendships are forged, and laughter drifts in the ocean breeze.

The Artifacts of the Island

As the island’s mysteries unfolded, explorers and collectors discovered strange artifacts poking out from beneath the sands and hidden within its dense jungles. The most famous among them:

    •    A purple genie bottle, said to contain whispers of the island’s past. Some say if you listen closely, you can hear the voice of an ancient trickster spirit.

    •    A small mermaid skeleton, believed to be proof that mystical sea creatures once lived in the waters surrounding the island.

    •    An old pirate’s compass, which never seems to point north but instead leads seekers toward the unknown. {currently missing, believed to be with the last person who followed its directions}

This hidden realm is the inspiration behind DJ Tea’s radio show, Eclectic Wonderland, where the unexpected is always just around the corner.

The People of the Island

The quiet little island may be small, but it is home to a cast of colorful characters:

    •    Beachfront Vinny – The house musician and comedian at The Purple Tiki Lounge. With his signature ukulele and quick wit, Vinny keeps the island entertained night after night.

    •    Dr. Isla Solara – The island’s only doctor, known for her deep knowledge of ancient remedies and modern medicine. She often collaborates with DJ Tea, blending holistic and medical approaches to help islanders stay healthy.

    •    The Mischievous Squirrels – No one knows exactly where they came from, but they seem to have a knack for stealing snacks, rearranging tiki masks, and occasionally broadcasting nonsense over the radio waves.

    •    The Guardians – Strange glowing figures that have been

spotted near the vortex. Are they spirits, time travelers, or something

else entirely? No one knows for sure.

is entirely gluten-free—a tradition carried on by the founding

family, who all had celiac disease. Every dish is crafted to be
