Why TeaZilla?
After surviving years of trauma and abuse, it took time (and tenderness) to begin sharing my art again. For me, art has always been a lifeline, a way to process pain and rediscover joy. When I was ready to create again, I found strength in an unexpected place: my inner dinosaur.
TeaZilla is more than a name—it’s my inner dino, a fierce and gentle protector who roared back to life when I needed her most. She’s every bit a part of me: brave, quirky, a little wild, and deeply committed to making the world more magical.
TeaZilla reminds me to advocate for myself, honor my story, and believe in fairytales again. Through her, I’ve reclaimed my voice—expressing myself through art, a radio show, and the tiny glimmers that spark joy.
Now, through Studio TeaZilla, I use my creative powers for good—crafting wonderlands, sharing brownies, and spreading joy wherever I can.
